First of all it takes a lot for me to post negative comments about another company, but I feel that my experience with 123-reg.co.uk over the past week justifies this post.

As you may know, we are in the process of porting over most of our domains to bigger and better servers. As part of this process we are migrating some domains on behalf of our customers, some who registered domains with various different companies. You would think that would be a simple process, yes?…. no! First of all I transferred the domain into 123-reg and logged into the control panel expecting to see the domain there. Ok, maybe I jumped the gun a little, so I waited 24 hours, still nothing. I filled out their support form asking what was happening… 24 hours later, nothing…. 2 days later, nothing… not it’s been 1 week, 4 support forms, 1 complaint form, and 2 emails… still nothing!! I am proud to announce that we have invested in some new (even faster) servers and are in the process of migrating our customers sites over to the new servers. This is an exciting move for us and will enable us to provide an even better service and more features within our hosting packages.
