It is an interesting experiment to take on though, even if it is just investigating one new technology a week. I intend to keep on with this and review each technology as I try it out, then hopefully it'll give others a bit of a "heads-up" as to what is worth trying and what is not. I find myself in basically the same situation. I try to get to some of these new and not so new sites but time somehow always seems to be a problem. Running a job, a household and a blog all at the same time is not always easy. You are correct however, one will never really know what is available out there if you do not at least give them a try.
